One of the main foundations of the large-scale reforms carried out in our republic in recent years is to increase the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work, which is aimed at ensuring that our population, especially the younger generation, grows up to be fully mature and well-rounded people. Of course, educational institutions, along with all other sectors, play a special role in ensuring that today's youth, who are the foundation of our future, are well-educated, have high professional skills, and have high intellectual potential. Also, in the conditions of today's globalization, it is necessary to free them from any ideological threats, to form ideological immunity in their thinking based on the principle of "thought against thought, idea against idea, enlightenment against ignorance", to achieve the goal of raising them to the level of being able to freely express their opinions on current events and events, and, if necessary, to analyze them. After all, as our Head of State Sh.M. Mirziyoyev noted in his speech at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan: “We consider it our primary task to improve the activities of all links of the education and upbringing system based on the requirements of today. Speaking about the upbringing of the younger generation, I would very much like each of us, especially our sons and daughters who are just entering their lives, to follow these thoughts of our grandfather Abdurauf Fitrat. Here is what our great ancestor wrote: “Whether a people will move towards a specific goal, become a state, be happy and gain respect, become a world leader or be weak and humiliated, bear the burden of misfortune, be ignored, become subordinate to others, slaves, and captives depends on the upbringing they receive from their parents in childhood.” Indeed, in educational institutions, young people Their culture, intelligence, behavior, and the qualities they possess are a reflection of the upbringing they received in the family. The education system contributes to the improvement of these qualities. The main goal of a higher educational institution should be to expand the scope of activities that, while improving spiritual and educational work, educate our young people in the spirit of discipline, respect for elders, reverence for the memory of ancestors, and honoring the elderly.
