The team of the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute
The educational and research work of the Institute involves professors and teachers with scientific and practical potential, compatriot experts who have studied and improved their skills in prestigious research, educational and medical institutions abroad, and leading specialists in the field, and today the scientific potential of the Institute is 70%. The results of scientific research of professors and teachers of the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute are published in internationally indexed authoritative scientific journals. Several original medicines and biologically active additive technologies have been developed and introduced on an industrial scale by the employees of the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute ("Nigeprost", "Piratsin", "Betayodeksa", "Askofer", "Nigelit", "Kurmufer", etc.), and patents for inventions have been obtained for them from the Intellectual Property Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In order to address one of the current pressing issues - the creation of drugs against coronavirus infection, the institute's scientists have created an original, highly effective capsule drug "Antikovir". The drug "Antikovir" was registered by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, received permission for use in medical practice, and a patent for the invention was obtained from the Intellectual Property Agency and put into production. The institute's professors and teachers are conducting scientific work in collaboration with leading foreign higher educational institutions in the field. It is planned to organize a scientific council that will award the degree of Doctor of Science in the field, with the broad involvement of local and foreign experts from prestigious foreign higher educational and medical institutions, including leading scientists from the Academy of Sciences, and a scientific journal "Pharmacy and Pharmacology", which will publish scientific research works in Uzbek, English and other languages.
