V International Scientific and Practical Conference of the Student Scientific Society

 

“Education Leads to Research — Research Leads to Development”**

On May 7, 2026, the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute successfully hosted the V International Scientific and Practical Conference of the Student Scientific Society under the theme:
“Education Leads to Research — Research Leads to Development.”
The conference was dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Student Scientific Society and served as an important international scientific platform bringing together students, young researchers, and leading experts from various countries.
The event was attended by faculty members, students, young scientists, as well as representatives of foreign universities and research institutions.
The plenary session was opened by the Rector of the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute, Professor A.F. Dusmatov, who highlighted the dynamic development of the Student Scientific Society, the growing research potential of students, and their achievements at both national and international levels.
A welcoming speech was delivered by the academic advisor of the institute, A.N. Yunuskhodjaev, who emphasized the importance of integrating scientific research into the educational process and fostering innovation-driven thinking among youth.
International participation
Distinguished international experts participated in the plenary session:
Shokhmurod Anarkhanovich Molaykhanov (Kazakhstan) — Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, clinical pharmacologist, EMBA graduate;
Professor Dr. Muhammad Khurram (Pakistan) — Professor at Iqra National University, Founder and Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Associate Dean of Health and Life Sciences Faculty, author of more than 40 scientific publications;
PhD Yuliya Preobrazhenskaya (Belarus) — Representative of the Institute of Biochemistry and Pharmacology (Grodno) and the Academy of Plant and Bioactive Substances.
They presented scientific reports on current trends in pharmaceutical sciences and international collaboration.
Student presentations
Student presentations were also delivered during the plenary session:
Shaykhova L.O. (1st year) — “The Role of Youth in the Strategic Development of Uzbekistan…”
Urinova D.J. (5th year) — “Activities and Achievements of the ‘Farm Innovatorlar’ Club…”
A total of 162 students participated in the conference, presenting their research findings in oral sessions.
The conference proceedings included 254 scientific abstracts.

Each section provided a platform for academic discussion, presentation of innovative research, and exchange of scientific experience among participants.
