On October 20, 2025, in the city of Ufa (Russian Federation), the international scientific article competition “Fundamental and Applied Aspects of Modern Science Development” was held.
A 2nd-year student of the 201 group, majoring in “General Medicine” at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research — Mamatqulova Kumushkhon Abduvakhidovna — successfully took part in the event.

Under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Gulzira Orinbayevna Ismailova from the Department of Organic and Biological Chemistry, the student presented an innovative research project titled:
“Isolation and Study of the Total Flavonoid Content in Young Leaves of Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium L.)”.

The study presented significant results related to the extraction of flavonoid complexes from young wormwood leaves and the investigation of their biological properties.

The research novelty, practical relevance, and the student’s active participation were highly appreciated by the competition jury. Mamatqulova Kumushkhon was awarded a First-Degree Diploma and a Certificate of Active Participation.
