Direction of Education: Directions of the Center for Advanced Training and Retraining

In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set forth in the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Measures for the Further Development of the System of Medical and Pharmaceutical Education and Science” dated May 6, 2019 PQ-4310 and to further develop the provision of competitive non-state educational services based on modern technologies and innovations in the pharmaceutical sector, the Center for Advanced Training and Retraining of Pharmacists was established at the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute in November 2021 and was issued a certificate No. 015112 by the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the activities of advanced training and retraining of personnel. Since November 2021, the center has been operating.
The Advanced Training and Retraining Center of the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute (FTTI) has been equipped with the necessary equipment for not only the advanced training of pharmacists, but also for the first time in the republic for retraining courses for specialists in biotechnology, metrology, standardization and product quality management, and medicinal plant care technology (agroecology), and finally, starting in January 2022, training in these courses began.
 
The Advanced Training and Retraining Center of the FTTI has advanced training and retraining courses in the following areas:
 
1. Current issues in the economics of pharmacy institutions and pharmacy - 144-hour general advanced training courses;
 
2. Current topics in pharmaceutical practice - 144-hour general advanced training courses;
 
3. Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) – 36-hour short-term advanced training courses
 
4. Quality assurance in pharmaceutical enterprises in accordance with the national requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
 
5. Mechanization and automation of the drug preparation process in pharmacies – 36-hour short-term advanced training courses;
 
6. Marketing strategy and tactics in the pharmaceutical market – 36-hour short-term advanced training courses;
 
7. Pharmacoeconomics (methods of systematic analysis of scientific literature) – 36-hour short-term advanced training courses;
 
8. Refresher courses in the field of pharmacy education (for graduates of biotechnology, industrial pharmacy, metrology, standardization and product quality, and medicinal plant care technology (agroecology)).

The center is staffed by qualified teachers with sufficient experience in the pharmaceutical field - Scientific Advisor of the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute, Professor Yunuskhodjayev Ahmad Nigmanovich, Advisor to the Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, Assoc. Prof. Ibragimova Muhabbat Yakhoyevna, Director of the Center for Advanced Training and Retraining of the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute, Professor Iskandarova Shokhista Fehruzovna, Professor Zaynutdinov Khikmatilla Sunnatovich, Associate Professors of the Center for Advanced Training and Retraining Salyamova Shakhlo Turakulovna, Abdijalilova Zilola Khikmatillayevna, Abdukhalilova Nilufar Sabirovna, Islamova Marg'uba Ziyatovna and others.
 
At the end of the course, the trainees are given a certificate of advanced training in the form approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This will allow specialists to continue their activities for the next five years.
