The Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research is establishing cooperation with China Pharmaceutical University

Today, an online meeting was held at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research with representatives of China Pharmaceutical University via the ZOOM platform. The online meeting with Ms. Chen Zhang, Head of the International Relations Department of China Pharmaceutical University (XFU), was attended by the rector of the institute Aziz Dosmatov, vice-rector for academic affairs Shakhnoza Umarova, professor Khikmatulla Zaynutdinov, director of the Center for Advanced Training and Retraining Shohista Fehruzovna, and teachers of the institute.

Speaking at the beginning of the meeting, the rector of the FTTI Institute A. Dosmatov first of all expressed his gratitude to the Chinese side for the offer of cooperation, and said that the institute team is eager to cooperate with the university on an international scale in student exchange, advanced training, research, and the creation of new medicines.

Then, in order to provide detailed information about the FTTI Institute, a special video clip was shown to the Chinese partners. In turn, the Chinese representatives also provided detailed information about the activities and capabilities of XFU.

From 2017 to the present, it has been ranked 1st among other universities in the Republic of China in the fields of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Clinical Medicine. During the meeting, Ms. Chen Zhang, Head of the International Relations Department of the University of Foreign Studies, proposed cooperation in about 40 educational programs at the university, including bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and additional training courses lasting from 1 to 6 months.

During the lively meeting, the parties exchanged views on the areas of cooperation, the main aspects of their activities, the joint implementation of projects of equal interest, and the achievement of high results in the future by combining mutual opportunities. The leadership of FTTI announced that they would initially start cooperation on training programs lasting 1-6 months at the institute, and in the future they would continue relations in the areas of bachelor's and master's education. The parties negotiated on the establishment of a system of studying a bachelor's degree for 2 years in Uzbekistan and 2 years in China. The agreements reached were unanimously recognized as equally important and beneficial for both parties.

At the end of the conversation, they agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation between China Pharmaceutical University and the Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in the near future.
