“On measures to further develop the higher education system” of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 20, 2017 No. 2909, “On measures to further expand the participation of sectors and industries of the economy in improving the quality of training of specialists with higher education” of July 27, 2017 No. 3151, “On additional measures to improve the quality of education in higher education institutions and ensure their active participation in the comprehensive reforms being implemented in the country” of June 5, 2018 No. In order to further develop the tasks set by the Resolution No. 3775 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the further development of the system of medical and pharmaceutical education and science” dated May 6, 2019 PQ-4310, and the provision of non-state educational services based on modern technologies and innovations in the pharmaceutical sector, and in order to organize the educational process in accordance with the Resolution No. 36 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Regulation on Master's Degrees” dated March 2, 2015, the following master's degree programs were established at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research:

70910702 - Organization and management of pharmaceutical work

70910703 - Experimental and sports pharmacology

70910802 - Industrial technology of drugs

70910104 - Technology of medicinal products and preparations

70910701 - Specialist in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacognosy

The Master's Department carries out the following work:

- The Institute manages the work of the Master's degree, organizes the educational process in accordance with the curricula and programs in accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- Carries out work on improving curricula and programs in accordance with the requirements of the time;

- Inspects the organization of the educational process of the departments of the Master's degree specialty on the basis of raids, and brings to the attention of the deans and heads of departments in order to eliminate the shortcomings identified according to the results of the inspection;

- Organizes a data bank on the teaching staff of the faculties and departments related to the Master's degree specialties;

- Manages the pedagogical and production practice of the Masters in general on the basis of the regulations approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and monitors the implementation of the practice plans;

- Organizes meetings of teaching staff on issues of organizing the scientific and pedagogical activities of master's students and ensuring their educational process;

- Organizes participation in activities on the distribution and orientation of master's graduates of the institute.
